I just upgraded to Snow Leopard the week it came out and I recently started using VLC to play DVDs instead of Front Row. I have noticed that after finishing a movie played with VLC the eject button does not successfully eject my disc. The onscreen eject icon fades in and out like normal but no physical eject. After I close VLC the disc ejects when I press the eject button once more. Any ideas what might be wrong?
I have a 20' iMac with 2.4GHz Intel processor and 2 GB of SDRAM. I have installed all of the appropriate updates on my computer.
On a side note, I hate iDVD and Front Row ***** because I cant use my wireless mouse and I am stuck with a wired keyboard - is VLC my best option for DVD playback? I love the new Quicktime, I only wish it would play DVDs.
